We (we being Hazel and David)chose a while ago to go sailing instead of working - someone has to make the tough decisions!
We spent a couple of years in the Med but have now changed boats and are sailing back to the Med over a couple of seasons, hoping to be in the Med in summer 2007. Our boat of choice is a Westerly Corsair, now named Sundancer, exported when new in 1985 to the USA and now reimported to the UK. "Sundancer" is 36ft long, sloop rigged and, most importantly, has good headroom to cope with the skippers 6'4" height. We've equipped her with a good range of instruments and GPS but she does not have radar or the plotter that most of her contemporaries now seeem to have.
